1. The purpose of T.R.I.P. is to promote the education of students at C.W.C. Therefore, the savings earned will be paid only to C.W.C. as designated on your registration form.
Ø Your family’s current or future tuition.
Ø Another family’s (or families’) current or future tuition.
Ø Parents in Action.
Ø The Foundation for Christian Education.
Ø C.W.C. Tuition Assistance Fund.
Ø C.W.C. General Fund.
Ø C.W.C.Building Fund.
Ø Any other C.W.C. account.
2. The T.R.I.P Committee retains the right to keep a portion of the savings for operating expenses—generally one of the percentages offered (Example: A participating merchant offers a 10% discount. The T.R.I.P Committee retains a 1% discount and posts a 9% discount to your account.) Any excess savings after operating expenses will be paid out to Parent in Action.
3. The savings earned on your account will be held by the T.R.I.P. Treasurer and credited two times a year—currently October and March. Any discrepancies must be brought to the attention of the T.R.I.P. Computer Data Coordinator within seven days of the statement date.
4. In the case of a family having their last child graduating from high school, the T.R.I.P Treasurer will return savings directly to the family at the end of the school year. This applies to savings accrued after the spring pay-out until the end of the school year. Thereafter, they will be considered a donor family.
5. If you are a student family and your child(ren) will no longer attend C.W.C., for whatever reason, your account can be processed in any of (or a combination of) the following options.
Ø Credited to your outstanding tuition balance.
Ø Credited to another family’s (or families’) tuition.
Ø Gifted to Parents in Action.
Ø Gifted to The Foundation for Christian Education.
Ø Gifted to C.W.C. Tuition Assistance Fund.
Ø Gifted to C.W.C. General Fund.
Ø Gifted to C.W.C.Building Fund.
Ø Gift to any other C.W.C. account.
The T.R.I.P. Computer Data Coordinator must be informed of your preference within 30 days of the start of the next school semester or your account balance will be gifted to C.W.C. Tuition Assistance.
