CWC has an active and busy Theatre Arts Department. Because we see all of God's creation as something Christians must be involved in and redeem for our Creator, we develop our gifts in this area also.
Our God is an imaginative God, and has creatively made us in His image. And God continues to express His own creativity by inspiring and sustaining people who are engaged in healthy artistic activity. We can, therefore, use the arts to express our creativity, with humble dependence on Him, with thankfulness to Him, and as an expression of love to Him and our fellow man.
And so CWC is engaged in the Theatre Arts. With choices like the Fall One Act, Improv, or the Spring Play, students have the opportunity to challenge themselves, developing the talents they have been blessed with by God. And as with academics, music and athetics, when we participate in the theatre arts, we give all the glory to Him.
This year, CWC will be presenting the musical "Oliver" - April 3, 4, and 5, beginning at 7:00 in the high school gym.
Tickets are on sale now or can be purchased at the door.
$5.00 for students and adults; $4.00 for children 5 and under.
