There was little margin for error on February 1st in Green Lake for the CWC Forensics Team, as the Crusaders were entered in the minimum of eight events to be eligible for the team title. When the final scores were tallied, Coach Heather Tessman's squad had earned a 12-point victory and took home their second straight Trailways title. Four events earned 1st place medals as event conference champions: Public Address (Tyler Ten Pass), Solo Acting (Joseph Van Den Berg), Group Interp (Ellie Miller, Hailey Nugent, Sarah Callahan, Caroline Pugh, Megan Allen), and Play Acting (Chiyel Katsma, Adriyel Katsma, Kristyn Sommers, Hannah Roddy). Congratulations Forensics Team on a job well done!!! Rich Williams, a retired band director from Sheboygan County Christian, has agreed to fill in for the remainder of the year as band director for CWC. We are thankful to God that He has brought us a sincere Christian educator with a passion for instrumental music. Rich brings a wealth of experience (30+ years), knowledge of music in a small Christian school environment, and a willing heart of service. Please pray that Rich will be a blessing to our students and that CWC may be a blessing to him as well. Rich will begin his duties on Thursday.
