College Scholarships
Students should check with the colleges that they are applying to. Many colleges have freshmen scholarships that they need to apply for before the end of January 2012. If you need help in this see Mrs. Schouten or contact your college admissions personnel.
Howard Hughes Medical Institute Scholarship: This is a scholarship for students who have been accepted and are attending Calvin College. These students must also plan on majoring inbiology, biotechnology, biochemistry, chemistry, physics, or mathematics. They must intend to pursue a caree in research and/or post secondary education in biology or orn of the related disciplines of chemistry, biochemistry, physics or mathematics. Students must also have a high school GPA of 3.5 or higher, and an ACT of 30 or higher, as well as grades of B or higher in high school science classes. Local Scholarships
SSPC Coatings Inc. College Scholarship. This is a scholarship for students who parents are members of the SSPC Coatings Inc. For information on this scholarship click here. The deadline for this scholarship is not listed at this time.
Herzing Cup Scholarship: This is a scholarship for students attending Herzing and those not attending Herzing. Students who wish to create a project in either Business, Technology, Visual Communications or Healthcare need to submit an application by March 9, 2012. Applications are available from Mrs. Schouten or by clicking here.
Waupun Memorial Hospital Ladies Auxillary Scholarship: This is a scholarship available to high school seniors pursing a health care related field and a four year bachelors degree. Applications are available from Mrs. Schouten or by clicking here. The application deadline is April 13, 2012.
Agnesian Health Care Volunteer SCholarship: This is a sholarship for high school students who live in the Agnesian health care area and are pursuing a career in a health care field. There are scholarships for students going to both four year universities and two year techincal colleges. The Application Deadline is March 15, 2012. Applications are available from Mrs. Schouten.
State or National Scholarships
NHS Scholarship Program: This is a scholarship available to any student that is part of the National Honor Society. To complete the application go to www.studentscholarship.org/scholarship.php. The deadline for this scholarship is January 20, 2012.
Ronald McDonald House US Scholarship Program: All students are eligible to apply regardless of race, color, creed, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or national origin. To apply and see other information visit www.rmhc.org where you will find the scholarship link under the What We Do Heading.The deadline for this scholarshi9p is January 27, 2012.
Best Buy Scholarships: This is a scholarship program for students in grades 9-12, living in the United States. Applicant winners will be students that have solid grades plus community service or work experience. To apply simply visit www.bestbuy-communityrelations.com or www.at15.com, The deadline for completing the application is February 15, 2012
NursingAbuse.net--Awareness and Prevention Scholarship: This is the first of its kind. This is a sholarship for students that are pursuing a career that would help prevent situations of nursing home abuse. Such careers might include psychology, social work, healthcare administration to name a few. For more information visit http://www.nursinghomeabuse.net/. The deadline for this scholarship is February 15, 2012.
Milwaukee / NARI Foundation Scholarship Program: Students that are pursuing college programs in the following fields are encouraged to apply for this scholarship: Architecture, Carpentry, Electrical, Engineering, HVAC, Interior Design, Landscaping , Masonry, Plumbing and other industry related curriculums. Students GPA as well as demonstration of work ethic, motivation, dedication, follow through and creativity plus and in person interview with NARI board members will determine the scholarship recipient. Please see Mrs. Schouten for an application. The deadline for this scholarship is March 1, 2012.
Kwik-Trip Inc. Family Scholarship: This scholarship is available to students who are Kwik-Trip co-workers or have a parent who is a Kwik-Trip co-worker with at least one year of employment as of April 30, 2012. For application see Mrs. Schouten. Application deadline is April 30, 2012.

NHS Scholarship Program: This is a scholarship available to any student that is part of the National Honor Society. The deadline for this scholarship is January 20, 2012.
Davidson Fellows Scholarship: This is a scholarship for students who are 18 years or younger an US Citizens, and who have completed a significant piece of work in Mathematics, Science, The deadline for this scholarship is February 1, 2012.
Odenza Marketing Scholarship: This is a scholarship for students who are between the ages of 16 and 25 on March 30, 2012, and have a GPA of 2.5 or greater. To apply for this scholarship you must answer essay questions found on the application. The deadline for this scholarship is March 30, 2012.
Vancouver Restaurant Scholarship: This is a scholarship available to students are between the ages of 15-21 and of May 30, 2010 and are a full time student, and are willing answer questions found on the application. The deadline for this scholarship is May 30, 2010.
Healthy Lifestyles Scholarship: This is a scholarship that is available to students under the age of 25 and either a high school senior or first year in college. The applicant must answer both of the following two essay questions: in under 1000 words, "Why is a healthy lifestyle important in school?" and in under 500 words, describe your career plans, goals and personal ambitions The deadline for this scholarship is May 30, 2012
Big Dig Scholarship: This is a scholarship available to students in grade 12 and going to their first year of college. The deadline for this scholarship is June 1, 2012
Man Mac Automatic Scholarship: This scholarship is available to any student going to college in the US or Canada. To apply for this schol visit www.studentscholarships.org/scholarship.php. The deadline is June 15, 2012.
