Gerri Buteyn

Middle and High School Art 

Educational Experience:  Gerri started teaching middle school art in 1983 and added High School art in 1993.  After taking a sabatical to work  professionally on her own art portfolio from 2002 to 2007, she returned to teaching art at CWCS in January of 2007.  Gerri teaches part time at CWC and works professionally as an artist as well. 

Family:  Gerri lives with her husband, Rich in the village of Brandon.  Her boys, Jesse and Jason are both married, and live in Waupun.  Gerri also enjoys spending time with her two granchildren, Jaxon-3 and Charlotte-2. 

Why she enjoys teaching at Central Wisconsin Christian:  Teaching art at CWC is extreemly fulfilling for her to see students develop an appreciation for the world of art and creativity and to see them developing  their God given artistic talents.
